True Jackson in Paris, May 22

True and her crew go to Paris!

The Nick show True Jackson, VP follows True (Keke Palmer) as she navigates work life, social life and love life adventures around the Mad Style offices with her best friends Lulu and Ryan.

True navigates her very first job, battles real-world obstacles like competitive co-workers and corporate politics and builds new friendships, romantic interests – as well as her niche as a fashion maven. Now in its second season, special guest stars have included Justin Bieber, Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris), pop sensation Natasha Bedingfield, teen pop-rock trio Care Bears on Fire, Jennette McCurdy (iCarly), Vivica A. Fox, Willow Smith and WWE superstar John Cena.

The film is a bon voyage for the cast of True Jackson as Nickelodeon debuts an all-new one-hour True Jackson, VP TV movie, “Trapped in Paris,” Saturday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

The brand-new special bids adieu to the Mad Style offices as True and her friends embark on an adventure half-way around the world, with special guest stars DJ Lance Rock (Lance Robertson) and the cast of Nickelodeon’s phenom preschool music series, Yo Gabba Gabba!, as well as Gage Golightly of Nickelodeon’s The Troop.

Following True Jackson, VP “Trapped in Paris,” viewers can catch a never-before-seen, inside look into the life of True Jackson, VP star Keke Palmer as she reveals her biggest secrets, on and off the set, in the half-hour special, 7 Secrets: Keke Palmer, at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT).

“This True Jackson, VP special takes the characters we love and puts them in an extraordinary setting and circumstance,” said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon’s President, Development and Original Programming. “Plus, we have surprise guests from other Nick shows that bring a special element of surprise and fun to the party.”

Premise
True Jackson, VP’s “Trapped in Paris” sends True (Keke Palmer) and Lulu (Ashley Argota) via plane, train and automobile to the City of Lights after they lose a wedding ring belonging to the wife of their distinguished, yet eccentric boss, Max Madigan (Greg Proops). In a frenzy to get to Paris before Max finds out, they fly to Paris posing as flight attendants and along the way befriend a young girl (Gage Golightly) who is running away to Paris on her own. The hunt for the ring takes a bizarre turn when True and Lulu land in Paris and are held captive by an unconventional billionaire who kidnaps actors, comedians and designers just to entertain his spoiled daughter, Carla. In order to be freed, True must design a dress that Carla likes.

Meanwhile, Jimmy (Robbie Amell), Ryan (Matt Shively), Amanda (Danielle Bisutti) and Oscar (Ron Butler) head out in an attempt to save them, but their search and rescue mission goes awry and they too are held hostage. With all of them, including Max, now trapped in the billionaire’s mansion, Jimmy and Ryan discover DJ Lance Rock (Lance Robertson) and the Yo Gabba Gabba! cast who have been locked in a closet. Things get even wilder when Carla decides that she wants to marry Ryan. The special also features an original song and dance number from Yo Gabba Gabba! and a cameo appearance by Keke Palmer’s real-life brother, Thinker Palmer.
Following the TV movie premiere, Nickelodeon presents the half-hour special 7 Secrets: Keke Palmer at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT), bringing viewers inside the life of one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars.
