Robbie Amell was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his sister. Growing up, he played hockey alongside acting. While in high school, he booked a supporting role in Cheaper By The Dozen 2 as one of the eldest Murtaugh kids. He went on to have a guest role on Life With Derek, in which would become a recurring role playing Casey's boyfriend named Max. Amell would go on to star alongside Keke Palmer in Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP and in Cartoon Network's live action Scooby Doo! films... click here to learn more about Mr. Amell

Robbie Amell hangs out poolside in his new feature in the August 2013 issue of Bello mag, out on iTunes now.
The 25-year-old actor opened up about his new show, The Tomorrow People and sharing the night with cousin Stephen, of Arrow. Check it:
On The Tomorrow People: “I’ve really enjoyed the parts that I’ve gotten to play, but I’ve always wanted to play something a little darker, and it’s every kids dream to have super-powers. It looks good. You can immerse yourself in the world of the show, without loosing it when a teleport looks horrible.”
On Amell Wednesdays: “It wasn’t until we were doing a promo for Wednesday nights where I kind of leaned over and said, do you realize how insane this is? For one of us to be the lead of a show is massive. For two of us, that’s crazy. For two of us to be on the same network? That’s completely insane. Same network, same night, one after the other is impossible.”
On stunts: “I’m dedicated as anybody could be. Jeff, who’s one of your stunt coordinators has a full set-up at his house in Vancouver, for stunt training. He said he’d bring me out there on weekends. I’ll spend a Saturday fighting.”
